Pirates of Birch Isle at Camp June 17-21

The annual Cub Scout Summer Camp at Camp Birch in Yellow Springs will be held Monday – Friday, June 17-21.  Cub Scouts will enjoy BB Guns, archery, swimming, boating, and fishing.  The daily schedule is:

  • Monday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Tuesday – Thursday:  8 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Friday:  12 PM – 5:30 PM (Dinner), then Campfire at Council Ring until ~ 8:30 PM

Drop-off and pick-up at St. Luke front parking lot.  Monday morning is a very important organizational meeting – all Scouts and Parents should be there promptly at 7:30 AM.  Scouts should bring the following items:

  • Sack lunch

  •  Canteen or water bottle

  • Hat & Sunscreen

  • Swimsuit and Towel

  • Backpack with plastic bag for wet gear

  • Extra socks

  • Poncho or raincoat

  • Money for Trading Post visit

Thirty-one Scouts are registered and paid at this time.  Council requires 6 adult volunteers to accompany the 31 Scouts.  We need drivers to transport scouts to and from Camp Birch.  See the sign in table for summer camp volunteer and driver sign-up sheets.  Medical forms with Class 1 information are required for all Scouts and Adult Chaperones. 

If any Scouts want to sign-up a $75 fee is required.  Please see Marlene Pugnale for a payment, tee-shirt size information, medical form, etc.
