Harriet Valentine Pugnale
My mother, the woman behind my father all of these years who raised four boys,
collected numerous antiques and Coca-Cola memorabilia, and DID NOT throw out all
our baseball cards. She can always be counted on when you are in need.
Wortley Valentine Johnson
My Great-Grandfather on my Mother's side of the family. He was a Conductor
for the Illinois Central Railroad. His passion was baseball. He
regularly attended World Series baseball games in St. Louis. Rumor has it
that my Mom has movie footage that he shot in St. Louis that shows Babe Ruth in
the crowd. I can't wait until I get my hands on it for conversion to
digital video. Hopefully, I will be able to convert it into stream format
that I can publish on the web.
John Lipscomb Johnson
This man had the foresight to document his ancestry and his life. My
genealogy information is largely based upon his work as published in
Autobiographical Notes, By John Lipscomb Johnson, Privately Published in 1958 by
Crawford Toy Johnson, Jr. and Allen Acree Johnson

the Virginia Military Institute. Valentine served the Confederacy in the
