A detailed review of my work history broken down by company and position with major accomplishments listed:

ImageMax, Inc. Dayton, OH  2001 – Present

Product Manager  2001 - Present

§         Responsible for ImageMax, Inc. branded document imaging software products including ScanTRAX, FileTRAX, ColdTRAX, and WebTRAX.  Coordinate activities of Product Support and Product & Maintenance personnel to ensure customer satisfaction. 

§         Manage outsourced product development project to validate that new version of ScanTRAX Capture software meets the functional specification.  Negotiate with Original Equipment Manufacturer’s to establish agreements that allow development team to use third party software libraries within ImageMax branded products.

§         Plan, prepare, and participate in Product Marketing activities to rollout new or revised products to internal and external customers.  These customers include ImageMax Sales Representatives as well as representatives from within the third party Sales Channel. 

§         Consult with internal and external sales representatives to communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of ImageMax document imaging solutions.  Prepare collateral materials to assist sales representatives in carrying message forward to customers.

§         Interact with management personnel at Senior and Corporate levels to report and present project status.  Assist management personnel in development of strategic plans to capture market share in target markets.

Business Development Manager  1998- 2001

§         Lead a team of 8 personnel from Sales & Marketing, Product Development, and Product Integration & Support to deliver document imaging services and solutions.  Total revenues were $1.6M and $1.8 in 1998 and 1999, respectively. 

§         Product Manager for scan conversion software product, ImageMAX ES, used at 45 commercial and end-user sites for scan conversion and print production from aperture cards, large format documents, and existing imaging solutions. Total  revenues from software and training were $135K and $189K in 1998 and 1999, respectively.  Associated hardware revenue of  $131K and $254K in 1998 and 1999, respectively.

§         Achieved an Excellent rating in all categories of The Boeing Company Supplier Performance Evaluation Committee (SPEAC) two years in a row (1998-1999).

Production Manager  1998

§         Managed a three shift operation that performs scan conversion and print production for aperture cards, large format documents, and source documents. Total revenues were $1.2M in 1998. 

§         Designed, implemented, and documented a production process that successfully delivered over one half million images and associated indexes on over 200 CD-R discs for input into the JEDMICS system at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center under subcontract to The Boeing Company.  Total contract value was $646K.

§         Created a resource tracking methodology to measure productivity and cost at the task level.  Managed the translation of the methodology into a software-based analysis and reporting Web-based software application.  Methodology validated in audit by the Boeing Company.

§         Lead implementation of RAID array integrated with two dual processor Compaq Servers running Windows NT Advanced Server 4.0 and 100Mbps Ethernet TCP/IP based local area network (LAN) with wide area network (WAN) connectivity.

Image Memory Systems, Inc.  Dayton, OH   1993–1997

Vice President , ImageMAX Divsion  1993-1997

§         Guided Sales and Marketing for document conversion software, hardware and services.  Annual sales grew from $760K in 1993 to $1.1M in 1997.

§         Developed document conversion process and software to meet Joint Engineering Data Management Interface Control System (JEDMICS) Compact Disc Data Exchange (CDEX) requirements.  Supervised third party contractor to develop software utility to automate CDEX submittal creation.

§         Automated document conversion services division business practices through implementation of standard operating procedures and COTS software and hardware for scan conversion of aperture cards, engineering drawings, and business documents.

§         Managed development and implementation of custom client/server document conversion software solution, ImageMAX.  Authored software manual and context-sensitive, on-line help system.  Managed and performed installation, training, and technical support for internal and external customer locations.

§         Specified, tested, and integrated custom written imaging application for indexing of raster images and archive CD-R discs for use in CD-ROM jukebox.

§         Integrated Photomatrix Series 6000 high speed document scanner into existing networked document imaging production process.  System was in full production within 3 days of receipt.  Scanned 225,000 images in first fifteen production days.

§         Designed and implemented Windows NT Advanced Server based network.  Three servers, thirty PC’s, and 25 users on local area network.

Director, Technical Support  1991-1993

§         Integrated custom written software, PageScan, for conversion of documents (specifications, standards, design changes) into raster image and associated index using hardware from Fujitsu and Seaport and software from Seaport.

§         Evaluated and selected document imaging software for internal and external customer implementation. Provided hardware and software support for scan conversion operations of service company.

§         Installed Lotus Notes Server and Clients for E-mail, Customer Relationship Management, Help Desk, and Human Resource applications.

§         Implemented Novell Netware 3.12 25-user LAN including wiring building with network drops, installation of hubs, and training of users.

§         Migrated company to Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11 for peer to peer networking, file and printer sharing and Microsoft Office Professional for word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation development.

§         Lead team & outside contractor to implement Engineering Document Management System with custom FoxPro database application for search, view, print, and edit of engineering drawings for ten users installed at Brush Wellman.

§         Integrated custom written software, MVOX, for conversion of aperture cards to raster image and associated index on 9-track tape  in accordance with MIL-STD-1840A and MIL-R-28002.

§         Designed and tested CardView software for viewing raster images as part of a Sales and Marketing initiative to introduce document imaging services and solutions to existing customer base.

AlliedSignal Aerospace Co.   Phoenix, AZ   1985–1991

Senior Aerospace Engineer II  1990-1991

§         Lead team for integration and test of Joint Expendable Turbine Engine Technology (JETEC) demonstrator engine at the Arnold Engineering Development Center in Tullahoma, TN.

Development Engineer  1986-1990

n         Program engineer for a seven million-dollar USAF funded technology demonstrator engine program, JETEC.  Coordinated hardware procurement, engine assembly, and engine test at company facility in Phoenix, AZ.  Responsible for managing and reporting status of program budget and schedule to management and the government.

Associate Development Engineer  1985-1986

n         Program Engineer for a two million-dollar government funded compressor research project and several materials development programs.  Directed and scheduled technical effort, managed budget, and reported progress.
